battery box for 61 bambi

My battery box is 20 inches long by 11 inches high and 4 inches wide. The battery that came with the trailer is 4.25 inches wide which makes it difficult to remove and pushes out on the battery box. Does anyone know of a battery that would fit this box? Thanks

I think I measured it when I was going to use the original battery and they had them at Tractor Supply

Sorry, but no knowledge of batteries that would fit the box. But, “thinking outside the box”, it would not be difficult or expensive to build a new battery box that could fit batteries that meet your needs. From the photo it looks like you have room.

You could copy the original look if you are really into vintage, provide capacity for off-grid use, allow room for a shunt based monitor and kill switch, and design in protection from weather.
