I’ve got a 1963 Bambi, and hope to get a new interior installed this summer. Thinking ahead, and I can’t remember what was used for a door to the bathroom. Was there a pocket door, or was it just a shower curtain ?
It had a Mana-fold door. Like an acordonan door. It also had a track for a shower curtain. If you search my website for “door” you will find my repaired one. Www.bambiairstream.com
Amongst my other projects, I am completing a cedar strip canoe. So I am somewhat comfortable milling thin slats, and pressing epoxy into wood & cloth.
What would be a suitable fabric? I could get a canvas drop cloth, and have a fairly robust canvas, but I think something with more of an open weave would be better, but maybe less robust.
Disregard my last post, if I decide to do wood slats that stack flat when open, then unfold like an accordion, I’ll just use a colorful shower curtain on the inside.
