Update on rear leveler on my '88 345, has anyone ever replaced an actuator?

I have replaced the pressure pin up front and the leveler still does not deploy. I hooked the fluid hose to the jack directly and it deployed. It appears I have a frozen actuator piston, for lack of a better name, located on the side of the jack. I have ordered a replacement but the old one is not going to break away easy. Has anyone ever worked on these jacks? I would appreciate any suggestions from those who have done this job.

Hi Mr D,
When you do get this project started, any and all photos would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Derek

The job is done and the actuator has been replaced. I found that the best way was to use my sawsall on the top retaining bolt that threads down from the top. Even with an inch and a quarter socket, JB Blaster, breaking bar, no luck. After cutting through the nut on two sides and couple of good tapes with the hammer it fell down and out of the mounting sleeve. The replacement is all steel and comes with easy to follow directions, even with some new updates. The old one was completely frozen. Hope this helps anyone suffering with a similar issue.
