replacement accelerator cable for our 1991 Airstream 250

Hi all - can anyone confirm the correct part number for a replacement accelerator cable for our 1991 Airstream 250?

There is differing information out there, so we are looking for someone who can visibly confirm their part number or who has actually replaced it in the past. It is highly likely to be the same across the 1991-1993 250/300/350 series and possibly the post classsic models from the same era with the, P30, TBI and 4L80E combo.

GM Parts giant suggests that GM part number 15996316 does fit the 1991 P32 chassis with L19 RPO code, but other sites seem to disagree.

My Vehicle: 1GBJP37N0M3301377 1991 Light Truck Forward Control Chassis 8 Cyl 7.4L EFI; 4-Speed Automatic Transmission, THM-R2(4L80-E); Chassis Motor Home. GM 15996316. The vehicle options this part fits: Fitting Vehicle Options: P3(32)(L19)

thanks in advance
Helen and Nick

Post the VIN into GM parts giant and see what pops up. The RV is in essence on a truck chassis. Also post the question over on irv2 or classic Winnebago site.

For a manual you can get that here:

Thanks, I’ve got all that stuff but still can’t get a clear answer, hence original question about someone eyeballing the real working part on a post 91 model
