Need mounting info for Onan 6.5 in a 310

I'm looking for pictures and information for the installation of an Onan 6.5 generator in a 310 motorhome.

I'm hoping one of the 310 owners out there has this combination and can help me out

Thanks!

Brad

That's what we have, the Onan NH series, 1800 rpm aluminum block. As far as I know the installation is factory stock in our 1983. What do you need a picture of?

The pictures pretty much give me what I need. Our 310 currently has a Kohler 7.0 and I am going to replace it with a recently acquired 6.5 Onan out of an 86 345.

Thanks for the photos!

Brad

Sometime later this fall I will be making the swap. Don't be surprised if I post a cry for help at that time

A very good gen set, would be cool if you could convert it to propane.

Thumbs up Need mounting info for 6.5 in a 310

Brad:
Been where I didn't have internet, sorry to be so slow for comeback. I have the 6.5 Onan in my 310 and it is super. Yep I have it on gasoline, and it uses about 3/4 gallon per hour of running time. I used to have the same in another MOHO on propane and I had to get propane every 2 days. On propane the 6.5 uses about 1.25 gallons per hour, so my recommendation is run it on gasoline.
