Looking for a floor jack recommendation

Hi- I'm looking for a floor jack to buy, and wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for where or what brand to buy. I'm looking for something that would easily lift my Globetrotter (less than 3k#), but have found that there is so much junk out there. OR, what kind of jack did the thing come with originally, 1964? I used a floor jack I rented locally to change a tire, it was awesome. I bought a 2 tone bottle jack, which is useless. I also tried the jack from my Element, rated for 3000#, and it was just really awkward. Any (constructive) thoughts welcome!

Thanks

Peter

Hello, My Brother uses the Sears Craftsman aluminum floor jacks. He keeps one in the trunk of all of his limo's and vans. When I have used them they work really nice and they are light and wont break your back if you have to load them. Robert

Hey, thanks, that's great. The aluminum one seems the way to go. The weight was an issue, I thought I was going to die, lifting the rented jack into my Element.
