Isuzu diesel & transmissions
Some of the owners of the Isuzu Diesel of an airstream have up to 16 miles a gallon and others say 12 miles a gallon. Some are talking about 3 speed GM transmissions and others about Allsion transmission. How many speed is the Allison transmission? Is this the reason in fuel economy? Problems of each?Also noticed a lot of older motorhomes have replaced or repaired transmissions. Is one more porblemetic than another?
