Hydraulic Leveler

One of my Hydraulic Front Levelers that after it is extended will loose the ability to remain extended and will slowly retract after several hours. Besides returning it to the manufacturer for a rebuilt is there anything I can check or repair myself.

A hydraulic oil leak around the fittings and/or hose from the leveling cylinder back to the valve body and pump.

If you have an HWH leveling system, you probably have a leaking extend solenoid. They are the small cans located on the pump/manifold assembly. They should be marked on the hydraulic hoses that attach at the manifold which jack the apply to. Replacement of the solenoid will usually solve your problem, unless you are leaking hydraulic fluid elsewhere in the system leading to that jack.
