Display Panel

The display panel for the tanks and such has a red light that glows when a/c power is operative, either shore line or generator.
Mine seems to be burned out now, and I wonder what type lamp this is...it tough to reach , but I could pull it out if I have aclue what to replace it with. LED? Auto bulb?
The rest of the panel works fine.

I belive your monitor panel uses LED type lights to display tank levels as well as the shore power light. Before you try R&R ing the panel, check at your DC power distribution panel and at the univolt to be sure that you have not had someting work loose. Also you may want to test your univolt and be sure that is is working, the univolt is what makes the light, light up.

my distribution panel has a fuse just for that light, but my light is burned out too.
Haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. Its a two connector LED light.

So at the next MH rally we can all fix our panel LED's!!!! I have one out also.

How does that panel come out?

I found a reference in the manual copy I have..which is actually for the 85-85 models, but close enough. I first took out the two 50 amp fuses, as specified.
I pryed the panel out gently, it is spring loaded at ends and top.
Once out, I removed the bulb from the holder in the slot..you unscrew the mount with a 1/4" socket, and pull out the cardboard tube that covers the bulb. The bulb is a 53 automotive, little tiny one. I replaced the bulb, and reversed the process.
I used the bulb from my refrigerator alarm spot- which had been disconnected anyway. Either way it is an easy repair.
I also had the chance to dust out the panel while out.
