Diesel Monitoring Gauges

Looking for some input on makes and, which type of gauges to use for monitoring a new diesel engine.
This is a 6.5L TD Diesel which, I've gone thru a breakin period.
So far, it has the flowthru master exhaust system installed and, a new Amsoil dual oil filter system. I'm now looking to find either a electronic monitor/metering system or analog type gauges for the CHT, EGT, etc..
What are you using and, why do you think it's important?
So far, I 've looked at WESTACH products and, they look good but..I don't wanta limit myself to just one brand in my search.

Datcon which is used on a lot of heavy trucks but I could not get a lot of response from them when I was working on gauges. They are analog.

Dakota Digital which I ended up using, but I have a gas engine. No EGT, but they do make a head temp gauge, and if you talked to them they might be able to make an EGT, they are a pretty flexible outfit. My tach will record engine hours and trip miles. Not cheap, but they are very good gauges.
