Charging Chassis Battery

I have discovered that the only time my chassis battery gets charged is when the engine is running. Not when the Generator is running or when connected to shore power.

Is this correct?

It should charge whenever there is 120 volt AC power to the trailer. Check fuses on the charger or that it is in fact plugged in to a working outlet.

Yes, either your converter is bad, has a blown fuse, or you're not plugged in to a good outlet.

I could not get the link to work right so I recopied the thread on "battery charging for the motorhomes and put it at the top of the Motorhomes section.
