They left the straight fitting they used to hook there shop air to that did have a elbow with a bleed hole in it to keep the waste gate closed longer. The bleed hole works. Without it I lost 10 psi of boost
NOW the dash air blower's now working Start by checking to power to the blower motor.

Always pays to use quality components in the first place. Especially true on pressurized systems.

rework
I've been happy with the way this Cummins has done...... That is until a trip to the high mountains of Colorado last year. On the way back I was cruising down US 412 into Morrison, OK where the local police stopped me. I know i was speeding but He wanted to tell about was, 'A cummins in an Airstream'. He gave me the name/number of a guy that 'knows everything about a 12v Cummins'. Then the cop ask me if I know why I was stopped..... "well, I was going a lot of the 35" Where as he point back up the road and said, "You see those flashing lights? That's a school Zone." He didn't give me a ticket.... He didn't even ask for my drivers license. Anyway I called the guy and he didn't know anything. Story of my life.
Then fate struck while I was at a 'Home & Garden Show there was a bunch of dirt/mud racers with a super cherry old(but look better than new) International Scot with 4BT Cummins in it. Now I have a name of someone that knows what I need. Fast forward about 5 months and the guy looked at the setup: Radiator is too small, air/water intercooler is way-way too small, Fan's too small, and fan shroud is too big.
Front is back out as I wait parts.
So, here I am with the nose all opened up again. I'm going to promise NOT to use the internet sales people for anything to do with diesel power!!!!! They really don't know crap!

It's good to be back. Been down with more surgeries. Two more on my replacement knee and another in December.
Wish I had found this guy 3-4 years ago. The inter cooler I have was sold to me to be good for up to 400hp. The guy said that may be true it you're running through an ice chest on an LS engine for 1/4 mile.
He said the turbo is making booth, but the cooler is blocking it from the inlet.
I hope that with these RIGHT parts I can began refueling with different fuel cam plate and the larger injectors w/o high EGT.

Time for the latest report.
The new radiator and inter cooler installed. The P-pump timing is now 20 degrees BTC. Got the transmission computer back too.
On our first trip after. Getting 11.8mph. Tranny at full throttle is shifting close to 2600rpm rather than 1900 which helps a lot on acceleration.
Still waiting for the 'in cab' AFC adjust and the bigger valve springs. When I get them I'll put the bigger fuel sticks back in.
The diesel guy says it'll be turning 350 hp. I think it's closer to 250 hp. Still a far cry for the Dodge 180hp that started de-fueling at 1900rpm.

6 in a row makes ‘em go and a P pump calling the SHOTS!
I bet the Cummins feels capable and at home.

I'm waiting for eye surgery so i was in the passenger seat this trip. Wife drove for the first time. She ran 60 mph going to Arkansas and 70-75 coming home. I may have lost my driving job.

Mel,
Good luck with the surgery. That's a good seal of approval when the Mrs takes the key.

back to zero
Hate to resurrect this thread but!
Now that I finally got the engine running like a top was coming home from eastern Oklahoma was cruising along at 75-80 when the Allison went into 5th gear and the temperature went up to 250 degrees. It would not go into any other forward gear. Wound go into park, reverse, neutral and 5th. Called AAA and waited 4 hours for the hug wrecker to come. At home I checked the code with the scanner. The code was 'no connection to ecm. It don't have a ecm. The transmission guy said it may have just shot a code. I cleared it and today went for a drive and it wouldn't shift out of first.
With this I have blown the Allison 545 once, 4L80e twice and now the Allison T1000. Of all the things I've done I thought this was the best single upgrade I'd of all!
Guess I need a wrecker again to get it to a transmission guy. This may be outside my knowledge base.
Oh and then when I went to raise the front with the leveler jacks, they quit! Manual says there's a 15 amp fuse 'by the fuse block' Haven't found it.
Wife said I need to go roll it and take the insurance.

Some scan tools will allow you shift them automatic manually. The T1000 isn’t a bad tranny but the software sucks. Are you running the stock TCM or an aftermarket TCM ? Regards, Bob

Got the bad news from the transmission guy. Snap ring that holds the C-3 drum in was missing. The case is even bad. Now to get hold of the folk I got it from.

Geeeez Mel……I can’t believe the snap ring is missing ??? It’s like the main part, how many miles did the Allison go with that part out ? You might want to consider Jasper for another unit if you don’t get any satisfaction from your current supplier. As far as a controller goes, I’m not sure what your using but you might want to consider US Shift. They are a top notch company to deal with, their software is the best I’ve seen on the market and their customer support is the best I’ve ever used. Speak to Kevin there, feel free to pass my name on to him. Any help I can give you let me know, I would be more than happy to get your rig up and going, Regards, Bob

Think I have around 7000 on the tranny. Called and talked to the cummins/allison conversion guy in Florida. It was the tranny builder he was using, Xcalliber, that he blamed. I said "But I bought from you." To which he kept going on about 'them'. Said I can ship it back to him and he'd rebuild it for $4000. I decided to stop with the internet company's and go local. Full Pull Diesel did me good on what to do to get the cummins to come alive so I'm going with Tony. Should have it back next week.
The electronics seems to be working as advertised so I'll stay with that from Cummins/Allison conversion

I'm alive
Just back from a 3000 mile trip including the mountain of New Mexico, Utah, Wyoming where the Silver Bullet went over Observation Point Pass at 9430 feet. Had to have the valve body replaced in the Allison in Brigham City, UT
The engine did good. from 12.1 to 12.8 mpg. And NO WRECKER was needed

Next problem is to deal with the warning lights. Coming home the engine temp runs at 160 unless I'm climbing a 12% grade in 2nd gear it'll go as high as 180. Then the hot warning lamp flicked which got the gauge flickering and then the gauge quit.
She got 12.1-12.8mpg on the first real trip since all the work on the engine and the tranny rebuilt. The valve body went south going into Salt Lake City. Got that replaced and way she went.
AND: the dash a/c is blowing through all the dash ducts
rear A/c isn't blowing cold air
the door inserts are falling out and the plastic strips that hold it in is all failing
