1987 454 4bbl A.I.R. Evap Emissions System problems

Need help, I have a 1987 454 quadrajet and have failed the visual inspection for a hose missing off a vapor canister. Heres my problem, it is suppose to have one air pump and 2 vapor canisters but every where I have look it shows the aux vapor canister with only one hose going to it and the set up thats on it has one canister that seems to be all routed correctly and the second one that has 3 large nipples with two hoses connected to it and one has nothing. I have no idea where to route this one or if it is suppose to like it is,and if that is the case I have no references to be able to show the emission folks. They really had no ideal what it was suppose to have on it anyway. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
