Wiring for add-on back up camera on a 2018 AI with Lane Change Assist

Unfortunately, the simple solution of wiring to the 7 Pole Trailer Wiring Socket disables the Lane Change Assist since the radar system is designed for only the length of the van. Would splicing it in at the back up light harness have the same effect?

Thanks for your help.
