Window Felt

I get a lot of wind noise from the driver & passenger windows on our '82 280 M/H.

I would like to replace the felt so as to seal it up a bit. The stuff that is there now looks as though it went south 10 years ago.

Anybody know of a sutable replacement?

Go to your local glass company and see if they can match this number from their seals and weatherstripping catalog:
ASF126896
Its all rubber with a felt lip. When cut from the back every 1/4" at the corners, it conforms better than the fabric/wire mash stuff. It is also much easier to cut the weep holes for the drains.
It retails for about $15.-/8'

The track which the window rides in and the felt and rubber seals were all available from Airstream when I did my 74 Argosy last year.

If all else fails....

.... www.jcwhitney.com .....
they have a whole catalog section of weatherstripping and window felt channel, by size and profile. I used them a few times when i had a Ford Cargo van and they wanted over $ 300.00 for a weather seal from Ford.
The quality seemed ok, the seals lasted well, and it's available by the foot.
