Exclamation Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup for toad

I've been trying to find something close to the 2000 lb limit. Anyone know or know how to find out how much an 1982 Rabbit Pickup weighs?

'96 Saturn SW2

I tow a '96 Saturn SW2 Auto 4 down -- a bit over 2400 lbs.

A VIP Tow>Brake does a great job stopping it......would not try to tow with out a brake system...the VIP allows for manual application of the toad brakes.

I think the wagon would be a bit more versatile than the V-Dub.

Not knocking the VW - their great lil' pups - just limited by the two seats.

This site suggests the 82/83 manual diesel is less than 2250 lbs.
