Unknown storage space

Hi everyone. Have been scouring this forum for 2 weeks now since I have purchaced the "dog house", a 1976 28 ft. Argosy MH. I have a million questions to bring me up to speed on this beauty, but only one at a time. Could anyone tell me what the storage space is that would be on the left wall , ( the outside of the refrig) as you are entering the MH. Is it a "catch-all" or is it suppose to hold a specific item? Thanks

If you are talking about the flip down door, I would think that everyone found their own purpose for it.
I use it for maps and statepark info, bug spray and a lighter for the water heater.

I use it for my manuals, and service records. I recovered it to match my captains chairs and trim. Does yours have a door on it? if not you could fashion a bag like the other map compartments.

No, I am not refering to the compartment with the door. This would be the space just above the door. I have seen photos on the site where people have placed keys to hang and also I seem to remember a photo of 4 cups (Slender coffee cups). Any ideas on the intended purpose of this area and why Airstream put it there? Thanks for the response! GO GREEN!!!!!

We called it the mystery spot. When I asked the collective brain here they had not seen it befor and did not know what it was for.
