Shower door. Has anyone put one on a 1987 345 or similar airstream with curtain?

I am a first time motorhome owner. I bought a 1987 345 over the internet and I am going to pick it up in Oregon and bring it back to San Diego.

My wife wants to replace the curtain with a shower door. Has anyone done it? Problems?

Any other advice for a new 345 owner?

I believe that the 345 originally came with a shower door (accordian style). Mine is broken (or "busted" as I like to say).

I met an owner of a 325 that took out his accordian shower door and put in a single pane glass shower door that looked sweeeet! He is mechanically inclined (at least more than me which isn't saying much) and said it was not a problem. He bought his glass door at Lowe's I believe. Unfortunately, I have not seen him post here at the Forums.

The less expensive replacement for the old accordian door is the $1.97 shower curtain!

Short answer - Yes, it is possible.

We have a 1983 motorhome we are restoring. The previous owner let her bake in the Florida sun for a couple of years. The rollers on the shower door have crumpled. Does anyone have the rollers I could purchase or know where I could get them. I really hate to do away with the door and go to a curtain. I need all ten. five on top and five on bottom.
