Question Racks for A/S 28' or larger MH?

I don't have an a/s mh (yet), but I'd like to ask those owners who read this message, who own a mh 28' or larger - is it possible to have a rack on top of the mh? I see there are 2 a/c units on the roof, and I could probably work around them (?) The reason I'm asking is I'm a rower, with a 24' 35lb rowing shell, that I would LOVE to take around with me as I explore many lakes. I don't know how strong the structure is on top of the a/s to climb around to mount/dismount the shell or if there's any room to place the racks - the shells are rather narrow. Your wise thoughts would be appreciated.

thank you.

You do have a lot of structual support up there (Ribs). Considering that the A/C units weigh 100lbs plus, I don't see a problem with weight. Depending on the width required, you could possibly mount a rack to the side of the A/C's. Just stay off the end caps.

Hit the ribs and you will have enough strength. Stay off the areas between ribs. Think about how you will get it up there, you can't really lean much against the sides without denting or scratching the aluminum.
