QJet
Just pulled the QJet off my Argosy 454 and will make it available to a good home. I have installed an MSD TBI and won't need the carb. It would be nice if someone needed it that lived close to Placerville, CA. PM me if interested. It was running great last week but could use a little clean up.

I did a TBI kit 2 years ago.
I am keeping my carb, distributor & plumbing, just in case.
BTW, this is my setup from AFI:
Check out the cool mouse-over on the image

A few headaches, but worth the trouble!

btw my
75 Argosy 26 has the gas tank close to the engine so I can get away with only the high pressure pump. The tank is right under the passenger side dinette. The 15' feet of gas line hose that came in the kit is enough to run the main line and a return. The delay in finishing is borrowing a welder to install the 02 senser.
Should be done this weekend.

I dont think I considered the MSD or other aftermarket kits when I started looking because I was trying to stay as close to stock parts as I could.
The only parts on mine that are not stock are the program chip codes.
My AFI kit also replaced the vacuum advance distributor with a electronic one controlled by the computer.
The GM TBI is bored out and the stock 15PSI injectors are installed but they are running 30PSI.
After getting the bugs out, it seems to work well, just a little noisy under the doghouse.
Be careful with the high pressure in the fuel lines. Try and get rid of all the rubber, but if you cant, use short pieces of a name brand high pressure fuel injector rated stuff.
It feels great to be able to turn over the motor and have it start in 5 seconds and not 50!

Order the style with the O2 sensor threaded plug and save the work on the exhaust pipes
