Sure thing ! My older brother had a '80 GMC 2500 pickup that ran on both gas and propane. He did notice that the towing power and hill climbing was reduced. At the time, gas was getting expensive and propane was still cheap. The mileage also was reduced alittle on propane. At the cost of propane today , I think it would be costly to operate.

FWIW,
Loren

Green RVing

I'm watching this with interest as well. I can't imagine what it will go for.
Someone posted a thread a few weeks ago, on green RVing and the range of thought tended to be that this is a difficult goal to achieve. Maybe this is one piece of the green puzzle.
Tom.

With 160 gallons of capacity, you should be able to go just about anywhere with that coach! Even at 8 MPG that's 1280 miles cruising range.

Propane is a wierd business. Pricing varies depending on whether you own the tank or not. What color your tank is. How much you buy. What your going to use it for. How much you bought last year. What direction the wind is blowing. Thankfully gasoline and diesel fuel do not have such wacky pricing. I think propane is a wonderful fuel, wish everyone else sold it like Flying J does, by the gallon.
