Hi Brett,
9mpg for a decent size motorhome like yours is most excellent! Most of my friends are talking about 5-6mpg for 25-30 footers. Those would be newer models, some of them Class C.

I have to agree, everyone always asks me what kind of milage I get- and then cluck when I say 9 mpg. Menawhile their Surburban or Navigator gets
12.
Also my 11000 pound rig is 20 years old. Factor in the gas cost, campground fees, food etc. Factor out the hotel rooms, meals in restaurants ( for 4), and it all comes out better on my side of the equation. Or is that equator?
Just kidding-----and my "Muttley" is the first in....he can't wait to go when we fire up the big block. He even goes when I make a run to fill the tank.
Funny though he won't ride in the back at all....only up by the co-pilot's seat.

Cool WOW !!!!......

So Guys....
What U sayin here is SIZE DOES MATTER !!!!, Mmmmm, let me c now....a 7 L engine, is that what U guys call REGULAR,
NO-wonder U only get a few yards to the pint, LOL, but hey guys, what a way to travel, as U all seem to agree, it's ALL abt FREEDOM of the road...and I bet YR R/V's are KINGS of the road, Tell me GUYS, do U get any HASSLE from other drivers wanting to pass U, does it BOTHER U, or don't U worry abt 'em...'cos YR a LOT BIGGER than them...LMAO, (BEEP-BEEP !!!)...
Over here, most people HATE the CARAVANNERS, as they r so slow, so most of them travel at NIGHT, It's a SAD, SAD, thing, U kn, NOBOBY has any respect for other drivers over here in the U K , they gotta GO, GO, GO...pushing all the time, when I get a tailender, wanting to pass me, who is giving my exhaust tail-pipe the once over, I slowly ease OFF the gas, till he gets the message to BACK OFF...it WORKS...mind U I get a few 2finger salutes...jus 'cos my speedo reads, 140 mph, don't mean I gotta TRY, an do it...I was stopped for speeding last week, doing 32mph in a 30mph zone, I asked the traffic cop, if he would put down I was doing 45mph...as I'M trying to SELL the car...lol, ONLY joking GUYS...U c, that's why I rave on abt driving in FLA:, NO one bothers us at all, U guys just let us get on with it, of course U have that LAW where U can PASS traffic EITHER side, so there is NO hanging around...whilst over here we are ONLY allowed to pass on the RIGHT lane, NOT the LEFT....
Well work call me now, B-GOOD 2day...Take CARE...Chris.....
