Yup. Radials puff smoke like hell when they start, and also the first turn it looks like they drag a prop in the dirt port side.

Tail feathers are too small also...

But yeah, love the racket when they start something like a big radial-engined number. Went to 'Wings of Autumn' in Alabama every year they held it. Jets are for kids--the big radial engines are a mechanical symphony to me... I also love the sound of the Rolls-Royce Merlin---!

Hey! That's an "Open Road"! Those had a sweet fold down porch on the back. Out of plain curiosity, what year is the chassis? It looks like a '66 or '67 one ton Dodge.

I just saw on the news that the wienermobile was in an accident sometime over the weekend. I heard that it slid on an icey road and crashed. It took a pretty big bite out of one of the ends.

I didn't hear about the icy road. I just figured he was probably hotdogging.

I hope the driver was relishing his time, not racing to catch up to anyone - or wearing headphones since he must hardly be able to hear any bun else on yon roads like that.
