Before and after pics of our new Samsung TV and where we installed it. I had to reinforce the wall so the TV wouldn't fall. Still need to run the coax but otherwise it's good to go.

I started the install of the GPS and stereo as well. Decided to go with an Alpine unit and Kicker speakers throughout. I still need to fabricate a trim plate for the GPS and install the forward speakers. 5 1/4 worked well in the previous cabinet holes and 6 1/2 fit perfectly behind the factory grills in the bedroom. I still need to install the forward speakers 6 1/2 inch as well. Planning a hideaway sub behind the driver. Not to much just good sound while driving. For anyone curious I used KS Kickers with exception of the cabinet. The space was to thin below the cabinets so I used CS series speakers in that location.

Wow! That dash opening is one of the most hacked openings I've see!
A nice cover plate will do wonders for your dash. Your interior does look nice.

Yeah the opening was horrible! I'm thinking just a black cover plate. I made one out of Aluminum but it didn't look very good. Time to try again

If I recall it's the same guy that got promoted to cutting window openings in AS Cutters. Same MO judging by what MandolinDave found on his Cutter. He was pissed and shocked at the same time.  
Nice work......You did a better job at your stereo install than the gong show I employed to do mine.
Have you drawn straws as to who gets the window side of the bed?

Yeah it's me. I volunteered to do so. We really like the twin bed setup that is in some of the models. We thought of converting but the storage with this layout is really nice. The bed that was installed previously is very comfortable as well. We probably will just leave it how it is.

Finished the stereo update today. Turns out a Kicker powered sub can be hidden under the couch without modification. I planned to do a hideaway but the unit I purchased wouldn't power up. Ended up using one from Walmart. Actually sounds really good.

Finishing out my days off with some cleaning and safety items. Start the night shift tomorrow so probably work late on the Airstream tonight. Maiden vacation outage in three weeks.

I haven't had a chance to update the thread in a while. Our first vacation is rapidly approaching and we have been busy. One of the things unnoticed was some wind noise from the sliding windows and the driver side didn't want to open. After considerable effort and a lot of silicone lubricant I got the window freed up and slicking great. Wind noise was still an issue so we ordered some new pieces. Only issue I encountered was the pieces are sold by the foot. I reversed my numbers. I have a ton of vertical and not enough horizontal😡. Anyway I finished the passenger side and the horizontal on the driver side. The felts were still ok so they will be done at a later date.

We also were missing four weep hole covers. I ordered a couple of extra just in case. Easy fix just pop rivet it on.

We finally had the opportunity to take the 345 out for vacation. We chose Gulf Shores Alabama for our outing. Almost 1700 miles round trip without any major issues. Hard work definitely pays off. I have nothing but good things to say about the area and the park we stayed at. We even met the prior owners for an afternoon chat in the Airstream. Now that we’re home the interior remodel can begin.

One thing I forgot to mention about the trip is the friends we made along the way. Many people are interested in the coach when they see it. We expected this, having a classic car habit it becomes natural to plan some extra time to talk about your ride. That being said our first day of camping we got to know many campers and met a man who had restored an Avion trailer parked a few spots down from us.

Our long awaited interior remodel has begun. We decided to go with laminate for our flooring for most of the coach. Tile in the bathroom and carpet in the driver area.
