New 310 owner

My wife and I were driving home (taking the back roads) from a nice Saturday afternoon lunch 3 weeks ago, minding our own business, not bothering anyone, when we rounded the corner and there it was. <I HAD TO HAVE IT> Parked among 4 or 5 older cars, none of which looked like they had been moved all summer, was the finest looking motorhome we had ever seen. <I HAD TO HAVE IT> We turned around and drove back by, a few times. We both agreed, it was awesome! i knew it was all god when my wife made the comment that it sure would be moe fun than our pop-up. <WE HAD TO HAVE IT>
After a crash course in "aluminolgy", thanks to this fine web site, I knew what to look for and what questions to ask and a reasonable price. We now have a 1982 310 Classic in our driveway.
I am truly looking forward to the journey.

Rick, congratulations on your purchase.
If you are just remotely as excited as I was, you will have a lot of fun.
See ya down the road!

Good job!

That's the model I wanted...no tag axle for me. But I didn't have the room or $$$ at the time for one. So I settled for a 28 footer. Still, I really like it and my two boys love it. But, the rear windows on the 310 are awesome. Maybe when A/S make the new ones in 2005, they'll look sort of like those?

another wish of good luck from me. I too have a 280 but crave a 310.
However I am very happy to have one that I have personally gotten to know quite well over the past two years, which helps eliminate some of the surprises.
The rear bedroom with the surround windows sure does look nice though...
Post a photo when you are able to.
