I am trying to locate some boxes for the blinds in my 1987 345 living room and bedroom like so. To cover these types of things I believe I would need three sets minimum and ideally five sets. This may be posted in the wrong section but the app didn't show a section for motorhome interior parts wanted.
The kitchen window was the only blind with the finished wood box or valance or whatever you call it. All the other blinds were finished on the ends with velour drapery panels. The original wood blinds were nice except when driving. They clang and bang and are a real nuisance. My answer to all of that was to ditch the drape panels and original blinds. I had all of the windows tinted and mounted retractable Levelor blinds cut to length from Lowes. I did leave the original set up at the kitchen window and the original mini blinds in the back.
The Levelor blinds work perfectly and retract completely out of the way during the day and totally eliminate the flapping and banging around. They provide privacy when needed and insulate heat or cold radiating from the windows. It's been a welcome addition to the 345 and was very cheap as projects go.
Technical name is lambrequin window close outs (I think). There are a couple of coaches being parted out, which might be miles away, but you could try them if prepared to travel.
