ive replaced a few master cylinders but i didnt call the one on my coach a breeze. you have to take the drivers side tire and fender well off and then it is almost dueable. if you have paws like i do it is a hard job to get the bolts in the holes they need to go.
also get a puller to take the pulley off if you mess the pulley up my good wrench will get $35 for another . dont even dream about a hammer you will mess the new pump up and possibly the pulley. also when you put the pulley on dont press it all the way in as you need the room to put in the last bolt. but not to worry they provide a bolt and washers to tighten the pulley down and that is the easy part. if i had to i think i would replace mine again as i wouldnt trust some of these mechanics to do the job. my pully came apart and i was in the middle of no where. when you lose the power sterring pump you also lose the brake boost. yea you still have brakes but not much. i got 1/2 mile from home and some joker pulled in front of me and i almost got him . i couldnt see his bumper and that is close.
if you pump is going bad best be doing sumpin about it.
