lug nut wrench

Hi Guys!
We're still getting used to all the bells and whistles on our 2017 ASIGT 4x4 and discovered that the lug wrench supplied by AS is 19mm whereas the lug nuts on the wheels are 21mm. Check yours out. It could evolve into an unsafe situation.

We'd love to hear from others about issues with their 2017 Interstates, particularly,
calibration of grey water tank, chassis squeaks, inaccuracies on Certified Performance checklist.

Thanks,
Hilton

Only the trim covers on the lug nuts are 21-22mm. The actual lug nuts under the covers are 19mm. See attached photos

I got adjustable lug nut cover pliers like these:
https://www.amazon.com/Roadmaster-10.../dp/B000XPUT0S
Most of the non-adjustable version are too big for the smaller covers on the Alcoa wheels.

I had the same problem; the adapter nuts for the DOT hubcaps on my 35' Cutter were frozen. After breaking a Snap-On wrench trying to get them off, I went and bought a Milwaukee battery powered impact wrench and sockets to fit both the adapter nuts and lug nuts. Unbelievably, the battery power wrench could more than handle all frozen nuts, I've even used it to remove the U-bolts holding the front axle in order to change the airbags. I won't go on the road without some means to change a tire, just seems appropriate.
