98 Lanyacht 33'--Negative, I know every mark on my rig and nothing like that with mine so far. As a former fiberglass boat owner, I know that those stress spider cracks can be annoying but they usually cause no damage. If the rig is under warranty, have the dealer fix them. That's the beauty of FG, it is pretty easy to repair minor problems. Good luck....BK

Fglass MH's

One of the reasons I advocate the Classic aluminum shell is that the shell will not crack under normal stress.
I own a 90 LY MH and there are some stress cracks here and there, but as stated above this is normal. It is apparent that the whole shell twists and contorts as it shifts while moving and while raising and lowering the levelers.
I can literally see the differnce in my Drivers side door. Sometimes the body is so contorted that the door will not close without some help by lifting or maybe even pulling down on it.
But here is the biggest pro in my opinion of the fiberglass.
Recently my nephew inadvertantly drove our golf cart into the fron end of our LY MH. I was able to repair the Fglass myself for less than 100 dollars.
Had he drove the gcart into the 34 excella that was parked right behind the MH, I would have spent a couple thousand dollars replacing the un-repairable aluminum segments.

I truly aspire to have a Classic MH Diesel Pusher and one day, I will have one. Until then we are Airstreaming in our Landyacht and loving every minute of it.
