How to best remove Ink off our Ivory ASI seats?
We have an Airstream Interstate that has that beautiful Ivory Ultra suede upholstery. Somehow, I have gotten 2 little ink "streaks" on it. LIke I had not retracted the pen point. What is the best way to remove these stains ? Any special products recommended ?
Thanks, JosieNurse

My father inlaw was a dry cleaner and would always scold me if I tried to clean something myself, because it just made it worse.
I would call a few dry cleaners see if they would clean it. Don't call a chain store find a Mom and Pop where the owner does his own cleaning. Anything you do will more than likely set it permanently.

Time is your Enemy
I have had luck with these methods when immediately dealing with the stain; age works against you:

Have used 409 to remove grease and ink. It's ultra leather approved.

Removing ink stain on leather
As a chemist, removing a stain involved either dissolving the sample in a solvent or using a surfactant(soap) to carry it away. Now that you've asked, it's probably dried into the surface. I would use Isopropanol which is called rubbing alcohol. Then follow with dawn dishsoap to pull it off the leather. Try a discrete place first!

My wife is awfully good at this stain stuff of all kinds. She says "HAIRSPRAY "..
As much as I trust her, I would try a small area out of sight first to be sure the Hairspray does not discolor the ultra-suede.

Butt rub method
I did the same thing, pen in back pocket, marks on leatherette, distressed over methods to clean, took no action, turns out additional butt rubbing over time took it right off! The same thing that got me in trouble made up for it

Try a few drops of aloe and don’t rub it. My daughters pen leaked on our new car seat and my wife told me not to touch it. She squeezed aloe on it and few hours later the aloe had draw the blue ink out. Scraped it off and clean with warm water. It was completely clear of ink.

My wife is an expert in rectifying/repairing my mistakes...”we” had the same prob and she used TLBIJOU’ s method. Did try discrete spot 1st....I must also add she is a saint and altho it was my bumbling fault she excused it with a smile and a touching hand hand to the shoulder... good luck!
