Talking Gone Airstreamin'

Well it's packed up and we're headed to sunny Florida tomorrow morning. Yippee! Amazing to me when I realize that I rarely consider the actual purpose of the 345 - to go Airstreaming in with the family! Maybe I can't see this most of the time because there is too much darn grease and rust and carburetor parts in my eyes.

So, at least until Memorial Day, see ya'll later!

Safe Travels....

And what better way to realize the fruits of your labors, huh?! Kinda like a functional hobby of sorts. Am certain all will go well; have a safe, fun-filled travel experience and we'll look forward to a detailed "drive report" on that way cool 345 when you guys return!

Made it Home

We just pulled in about two hours ago. Great trip...a few breakdowns but we made it there and back.

Well - its a VERY private park. You need to know the owners to get in.

Actually, this is the driveway of my brother-in-laws' family house. Its on Jupiter Island in Hobe Sound. You can't see it but the house/pool is right in front of the MH.

I tried to get a better picture of the driveway entrance because at one point I had two palm trees arching over the roof with only inches between the trunks and the MH on each side. I was sure it would not make it in there.

We stayed in the house (7 bedrooms!)....but Gordon and I would sneek away from the wives and kids so we could consume massive quantities of adult beverages in the confines of the MH.

DEO - thanks for the compliment. The picture makes it looks better than it is. Mine is still a decent 10 footer but I'm slowly getting to the exterior improvements.

So now we have family with a beach house in NH, one in FL and my sister just bought a beach house on Cape Cod....since we live in the midwest/south I think we made the right call buying a MH !!!!
