dump termination cap

1994 Land Yacht Motorhome. I lost my termination cap for the dump. The only ones I can find in local sources and so far on the internet are 3" and the AS needs a 4".

Any suggestions?

Dump cap

If the connection on your MOHO is a Thetford you might buy an adaptor from Thetford to Valterra then buy a Valterra cap (more readily available). Just remove the adaptor to connect your slinky or change your hose to Valterra. Something similar was just talked about in another thread.

Don't know if this applies to your unit but this was a quick mod I did. Now I'm compatible with what's on the shelves in the RV section.

A well stocked RV parts place can get you the Thetford cap you need. It is not 4" but different from the more common Valterra caps generally used today. They are still made, but a bit pricy.

While looking for a Thetford adaptor I found not only the adaptor but also the cap I need on Amazon. Ordered both because the price was right. Thanks for your help!

Adaptor

Glad it worked for you, now you should be able to use the off the shelf hoses and fittings that are available off the shelf.

The adapter to convert the uncommon Thetford the the more common Valterra is Valterra P/N T05-2285VP. If you google this number you will find several sources. I got mine from Amazon. The price should be under $8.

Good to go. Need to find the next Airstream rally in my area.

dump termination cap

Order more than one of the Valterra adaptors. As the ears break off easily. It should be made with 4 ears or at least heavier ears.
