belt length: alternator + fan + PS belt (1975 argosy mh)

my 1976 argosy 24 w/ 454 has no air pump

The middle belt goes around
* drive pulley
* alternator
* hydraulic pump (for steering & brake assist)
* fan & water pump - backwards!
** yes, the pulley for the middle belt on my water pump is flat (not V)
and sized for the back of this belt!!

Does anybody know what its length should be?

Other belts
* the belt nearest the block only drives the hydraulic pump
* the front-most belt is for the AC (also goes around the fan & drive pulley)

Belts & Stuff

In researching all the Chevrolet 454 engines, and I had three in cars mid seventies, most of us racers got rid of the A.I.R pump because it was a hp drag. My mechanic friend used one to fuel inject his lawnmower.

The GM belt number for the A.I.R was 3921905, W.O. 3999272. I would expect those part numbers to be obsolete.

The most frequent crossover PN is Dayco 15495DR, 49.5" length, outside circumference 50.10", top width 0.44".

Another crossover seen regularly is Gates K060525HD but it's length is 53".

Don’t understand what you are asking for help deleting, text on the forum (believe you only have 24 hours to edit a post) or something to do with the belts and/or pulleys?

Presume you are not talking about an air/smog pump delete since you don’t have one.
