For Home... And Wherever You Roam (ABLifestyles.net)
They do custom work. They do it themselves; not imported.
They work from Airstream templates.
They're very reasonable when it comes to pricing.

Check out the 8" mattress at Rocky Mountain Mattress. We really enjoy our custom queen and have custom twins on oder for the new trailer. We also had Airstream custom sheets which are too big for their stock 7" mattress but fit the 8" Rocky Mountain mattress very well.

We use a thick mattress pad, folded into a large pillow cover during the day, and an all-season down comforter with washable cover.
No sheets, works great, and less bits and pieces to shift around during the night.

I am trying to figure this out - i am hoping for just a memory foam topper for when we get our AS - hopefully that will do -
Question - what happens if I try and put a real queen size mattress on there? I have one that is nice or a spare room I no longer have

All we have is the egg crate mattress topper.
We have lots of blankets and sleeping bags as well. The bed is very comfy and cozy. I sleep better in the trailer than in the house.

RV bedding
If it's the blankets and such that you are asking about and not the matrices then you might look at: RVSuperbag.com
They have a kind of large sleeping bag with a removable sheet. Very quick to make up. As the weather changes you just flip it over. One side is much thicker then the other. This solution works well on the flip lounge type of bed where it's a sofa during the day and a bed at night.

PharmGeek in reply to your question about using a queen from your home, it may very well work, but camper mattresses tend to be shorter than ones for your home, so measure your space first!

An RV queen or "short queen" is about 5" shorter head to foot, 75" instead of 80"

I'll do some measuring - that ~ 5 inch loss if doable would be nice cause I like this mattress I have (same queen I sleep on at home) - we shall see

If you use a regular queen mattress without the 45 degree corners - walking around the bed - if it is in the center of the room like our Classic - will be difficult. I use regular queen size sheets on my mattress that I have a feather topper on and works great - no problems.

We went with the Queen 4" topper with cover in our EXT (bolster arms down) it fits great and while there is 3-4" on each side, its plenty big for the wife and I.
Ill post pics once we put the pad Back in (seats were up for in laws shopping trip yesterday).
