awning problems
Hi,
Opening the awning on my 345 is a grueling task and takes 2 people, 1 on a ladder at the top and the other pulling up on the handle brutally. Whatever was supposed to engage when the handle is pulled up is no longer there and I put bolts in the holes on the leg to hold the awning up. Last time I opened it we had to muscle it so much that the roof bracket snapped in 2. I just had it welded back together and we are about to go back on the road, so I am wondering if anyone has had similar problems opening their awning & if there is a simpler way of doing this.
We have lived in our coach for nearly a year and besides the constant clutter that 3 people create, (especially if one of them is 5!), we have had a great time.
