Atlas Couch Seatbelts?

Happy Holidays! Checking in to hear if anyone has tried or even is possible to install seatbelts in the couch? Thanks!

Hmmm. 2019 doesn’t have them. I’d be interested to know how and where the belts are fastened so I could install a couple of sets. Anyone?

Look under your couch, all Atlas coaches have seatbelts for the couch.

If they are missing go back to the dealer as they are standard equipment.

Hi

Are you the original owner of the Atlas? If not, it's quite possible the PO removed the belts, simply to get them out of the way. it's a *very* common thing to do. If so, the mounting points are still back there under the couch. You just need to source a set of belts and bolt them back in place.

Common thing to do = about to pull some from our new van

seat belts on couch

Your 2019 Atlas definitely came with Seat Belts. I own the same model and have them. Suggest you extend the footrests and look under the couch. We frequently push the seat belts through the cushins below the couch to get a more comfortable space to lay down on the couch.

If you have passengers in the couch while you drive, I suggest you ask them not to extend the footrests or move the couch while in motion. My daughter did this and she must have pushed the button in the wrong direction because one of the couch motors burned out (stank) and if you can't move your couch, you have no bed! I've sent this suggestion to AS already and told them they should have a manual operation for the couch so you can sleep if this happens.
The system has a fuse under the couch which was also burned out. Not sure how the fuse could be burned out and the motor burned out, but it happened.

I replaced the burned out motor and put in a smaller fuse just to be sure the motor won't burn out again. I carry extra fuses now!
