142 have looked at your post, no one has posted, probably due to no specific questions asked. You make a value judgement about chevy and ford, but both have pluses and minuses. Age is at about 18. even well cared for requires regular maintenance, rubber gets old, replacement needed but a lot of times it only gets replaced when it fails. so reliability, would be the same as SOB, it is a chassis manufactured by Chevy, Gas mileage varies by driving habits, but 8 to 10 would be considered normal. i bought mine due to well cared for, low milage, and priced right, my research was for a Class A, about 30 ft, with good design, AS fit the bill. Only outstanding quality is that AS used oak cabinets and most other brands used veneer and plastic. Most parts are standard to the industry, and at 18 yrs all are out of warranty. You have a coachman they use a lot of staples, AS uses a lot of screws. You are in Wisconsin, you might like to know AS protects the holding tanks by insulation and venting furnace air to them. I'm in Florida more important is the insulation used for a/c to work, hard to compare. If you decide make the change, save some money in the budget to do the needed replacements. I can guaranteed you will need some tires, hoses, belts, A/C, steps, roof caulk, window caulk, fans, switches, pumps, over and above personal add ons. It has a lot of storage space and it has to be filled
