Access to MH Heater

Hi everyone;
As anybody tried to remove the passenger side panel that covers the heating and A/C on a 1982 or thereabouts motorhome. The manual says that you remove one screw and you can pull it out and they advise you to pull really hard. I keep looking at this darn thing and I see no way of doing it without pulling off the trim on the passenger side to get clearance so it will come on out. Perhaps the guy that was writing the manual is thinking about how they put it in at the factory before they added all the trim. If anybody has any ideas on this I would appreciate it.
Regards
Bill

The manual is correct. I have removed the panel and you have to pull hard. The first time I did it I removed the trim which was not necessary.
