Maybe someone has had a simular problem my 310
has gotten cleaned up inside and I have been running it in the
driveway I have noticed that the fuel and voltmeter guages are
peging out past full on the fuel and off the scale on the volts
when the thing is running I put a digital vom on the batteries
while it was running and measured 13.5 volts so it seems that
the alternator is working properly but I have yet to look for the
usual blown fuses or connections just wondering if anyone has seen these symptoms before and what the cure was. I will have
a chance to dig deeper into it later just thought I would try to pick someones brain on this forum before I dive into it. I did notice that the temp guage is working without this little problem

You could try to isolate the ground wire of the gauges and run them directly to a solid ground on the body.
