7 vs. 9 seat Lounge due to 4wd, can seatbelts be added?

Hi all, have enjoyed digging into the archives here. Have not come across a thread addressing this specific query. We have five young kids and often travel with an extra adult on some trips. Thus, we really need 8 seatbelts.

But we also need 4x4 for our snow driving in the winter. We lose 2 seatbelts due to "weight restrictions" if ordering a new 4wd Lounge (7 seatbelts but 9 seats). My kids presently weight 350lbs collectively. My wife and I are 300 lbs together.

My question is, would it be reasonably safe to add an extra seatbelt to the side seat (if done properly)?
