ok....I bought this rig from a dr. friend of my dads who had her since 85 . Ive had her 3 years. I got the fever of course and spent countless hours working on her. most everything I've done has been functional. so the new owner gets to do the fun stuff. This rig is mechanically very sound. I recently even took off the reciever hitch and found it needed rewelding. I replaced s front fender cowling. repanted rear cowling.....just a bunch of stuff. she has a small dent in the right rear quarter panal (ouch!)...I didnt put it there...it was there when I got her.....but otherwise she looks good. I had a lot of complements osn a trip down to the fla keys a couple of years ago. very cool rig. vbob

saga continues........I really dont want to sell her but after living in her for seven months while taking care of sick family, My wife has completely lost interest. We recently bought a house and the wife wants a boat(at least she doesnt want a pool or something)we dont have room here at the house to store the motorhome so reluctantly I've decided to sell her(the motorhome, not the wife)(although....that might not be such a bad idea).I'm a little reluctant to post my pesonal phone number here on the web but if anyone is interested I'll give you an email and we will get in touch.......thanks....vbob

was in the smokies this past weekend and i stoped in maryville tennessee and was adjusting my brake buddy in the toad and next thing i knew i was surronded by a crowd from the resturant i stoped in front of . everyone wanted to know where to buy a new airstream motor home like mine . seems one of the group had bought a ccd and the rest wanted a motor home. i had to tell them i had a 1984 and to get one like mine would take a lot of looking. related the various internet sites to watch. look on ebay but go look at the unit before you commit to buy. so to make a story short people are looking for airstream motor homes. one guy tryed to give his business card but i told him it would be a few years before im ready to sell the silver wennie. i would post the unit on http://www.rvtraderonline.com/. it is a free listing. lol
