Thanks for having us. We just picked up this 2003 Land Yacht. Maybe it looks familiar to some of you. She has a few minor issues that I've been addressing. Handling is the biggest problem. I'll start with new shocks all around, steering stabilizer, and bell cranks. Looking forward to happy trails!

Hi, Nice paint job on the coach. If your having some issues with handling here are a couple other things you might look at. Replace the cheap air bags and the weak springs on the front with a set of springs from supersprings. Another thing I did that made a big difference was replace the rear bump stops with sumo bump stops. The sumo's are a direct replacement and "rest" right on top of the rear springs, therefore the sumo bump stops responds immediately to all the movement of the springs and also helps with the sway in the rear of the coach.
So to date, I've replaced all four Bilstein shocks, heavy duty front springs and removed the old air bags, steering damper and both bell cranks. I had a shop do a wheel alignment and I tightened the steering box. Seems like the handling feels much better, I'll know more once we get her on the highway.
We replaced all the shades with cordless blinds and replaced the tired mattress.
I still had the original shocks on my 97 Landyacht so had them replaced and everything greased. Made 100% improvement in ride and handling. Air bags are perfect. Took some tweaking but finally learned how to dump them when leveling. If yours does not have a dump switch, let me know and I can share the sequence.

I removed the airbags and installed heavy duty front springs. We'll be taking her on the road this weekend so I'll get a better idea how she runs without airbags.
