110 outlet quit working

I was in the middle of a trip when the 110 outlet above the galley quit working. The GFI is ok and all the other outlets are working. Any suggestions? I am completely ignorant of all things electrical
Thanks Gloria

You might want to check in the Sprinter and B-van forum which covers your Interstate more closely IMO:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f240/

Maybe a loose connection on one of the screws for attaching the wires on the back of the outlet device? Flip off the related circuit breaker, make sure the outlet is dead, and unscrew/pull it off the wall to check those connections, and any "wire nuts" hidden inside the wall.

Please describe in detail what you mean by "GFI is ok" -- what steps did you take?

You might also want to check the Electrical forum and sub-forums:

https://www.airforums.com/forums/f37/

Good luck,

If a breaker is not tripped, it is most likely a loose wire where the wires connect to the outlet.

If you have an inverter and that outlet is powered by the inverter, make sure the inverter is turned on and fuses are good.

To check outlet wiring - With the power cord unplugged, the generator turned off, and inverter turned off, remove the outlet cover and receptacle to see/check for loose wires where they plug into the outlet and/or any connector hidden behind it. If the non-working receptacle looks ok, then move to the next down on that same circuit.

If you have a wiring diagram you could see which outlets are on that same circuit. If you don't, then you will have to work your way through each one.

There is a schematic of the wiring on page 9-26 in your owners manual.

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not knowledgeable about electricity, but I will try to find the wiring schematic and see what I can figure out. By the GFI being ok. I meant it was not popped off

Thanks . . . further . . . when you push the "test" button on the GFI outlet, does this "trip" the GFI the way it is supposed to?

FYI I read the manual as suggested and it said to turn the main circuit breaker (that is under the back side seat) on and off. I did that and the outlet now works.
Thanks for everyone's suggestions and help.
