Looks great - yow - 58 dollars for the vent operators - I can see why though, look like they are very nicely made.

What kind of gasket did you use.

Sure enjoying this post - I've got the same things to do on my 58 - belly comes off tomorrow!

That sounds like some serious work you have in store..
The gasket is fairly generic, but was the largest size they had at Home Depot, 3/4"x7/16"x10 ft.Part number R734W
The stainless steel hardware is #6X32 with the nuts /washers combination~I'd liked to have had something just abit larger but...This will do for now.

Today's project was to finis up the lights and the new light switch..
This was more work than I expected..mostly because of the hot WX..lol
These were originally 120V and, I converted them to 12V
Kept the original lights/hardware..(Just in case)

I'm glad you like them..
I picked these up at Home Depot..(14.96$ each)
Acouple of things to be aware of..
They're wired for 120V originally, I just converted them to 12V.
The 12V socket cost less than 3$ each.
The 12v Bulbs were just under 5$ each.
These are the 50W bulbs..My thinking now is, I'd rather see 35W instead.
I would've like to have kept the original lights, but the fixtures were in such poor conditions..No new replacements available. (That I was aware of..)
With the new paint job, and the special effects the light cast..it's kewl~

Those are really sharp looking light fixtures! Resembling the original look - but even better than the original! Like the way the light highlghts the wood and new paint job ,too.
I thing HD is going to have a mysterious run on those fixtures.....
Keep up the great work-
And for Pete's sake stay cool- stop for frequent cool beverage breaks, visits to the pool, if you have one,etc.

No, they didn't carry the sockets. I ended up going to a local electrical supplier here in Milford, NH. They cost, like 2.67$ each, already wired to go~!
If you or anyone else would like further info..PM me and, I can arrange for connection to the source. (it took less than 5 min to convert, btw.)
The bulbs were purchase at Home Depot. (in a package of three..)

I've discovered I'm host to such things as "Hummingbird Moth", "Snow Crab Spiders" among other~
Yesterday, I walked a local flooring company rep.thru the 64GT, getting ready for the cork flooring to go in..
He came by to give us an estimate for the work..The sample look fantastic~!

I wished I could ans that for you but, this is our first year with 'foxglove' in the garden..I was amazed at the results~
Our soil is very poor and, not at all like your's in MO..`
OMG, I just looked at the spider again..it has a baby on it's back~! lol

Fox gloves love poor soil and hate to be fussed over, that's why they are successful wildflowers... Are the roses native? They're beautiful!

Word of warning - the "Humming bird Moth" is the adult metamorphasis of the dreaded horn worm. The bain of all tomato gardeners, a couple of them can demolish a 3' tomato plant in 2 days! But I agree they are fun to watch!

The only know native "rose" to North America is, the Cherokee Rose, to my knowledge.. The example shown are just your average garden rose..
I was surprised they came back so well. I had cut them back completely last Fall..
Progress report~
Got back the cost and scheduled for the cork flooring..Looking for it to be installed in 2 weeks time..We'll see...

I honestly could not say if they're WB or not..(I'll be the first to tell you..my 'green thumb' is more luck than anything else..lol)
The Trumpet (?) are in bloom..
Funny thing is, when I first bought them, I thought they were both Honeysuckles..
It turns out they're slightly different, in both color and scent.(One has a nice fragance, and the other one has nothing~) On my Red Wood Arbor, there's the more traditional Honeysuckle vine with deep smelling fragrance~
Somewhat similar to the Mock Oranges...
I just wished my Wisteria would bloom more often~!!

First, I'd like to wish all Fathers, a Happy Father's Day`
Today, I picked up the new screens for the 64GT,
and they're a perfect fit~! I might add, they look nice ~
(Now, Looking forward to adding the custom made curtains next week~!!)While I was out picking up the screens, I grabbed some SS screws for the bathroom fixtures.
The towel rack, soap dish, and shower wand are re-installed using SS screws~No more ugly looking, rusty screws~

Cost breakdown..
New screens, 54$
8 SS screws, 1.20$
Total cost: 55.20$

First, I wanted to thank those that had offered to assist me in my search for some new window operators`
The search is over~!
A few days back while reading another "thread" on here, it was mention about finding things in your local hardware store..Got me thinking about my ole favorite before WalWorld-era.
Yesterday while shopping for some SS hardware, I just happened to be looking up and, noticed a box marked "Mobile Window Operators".
I thought, maybe I'll take a quick look see as to what this is..You know?
Well, you could've knocked me over..Here was a whole box FULL of W/O like those used in my 64GT..Not only did it have the right hand side operators but, left hand ones as well~!
Here's the best part~!!
My cost, as marked, 5.40$ each~
I picked up 4 of em~!
Then, afterwards, I was just about to give up (this was after driving to 5 or 6 stores) on finding some new 1" curtain slip on hooks.
Today, while I was searching the internet, I came across just what I need~!
14 to a bag for about 1.19$ per bag. I need about a 100 or so of these thingie~
Just another great day here in NH~!
