My New to Me 1963 19' Globetrotter

All,

Sold my 66 20' Globetrotter 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since - So hard to locate nicer smaller Vintage Airstream's these days.

One popped up for sale close to our home last month and after several calls/visits we purchased it yesterday.

Has some dents and needs interior work but looking forward to taking my time working on it.

I'd have to say we will keep this one for a while - My wife loves it and it's the first time she has offered to help me work on it

Congats on your purchase! We sold our 1964 19' Globetrotter last year and bought a 1995 Airstream Land Yahct Class A. I loved our Globetrotter and miss it dearly...it just became too small for long term travel. It was a beauty!

So now about 1.5 years later and I finally am almost finished restoring the interior of our 1963 19' Globe Trotter.
I re-designed it with a dinette which was mandatory for eating/board games and occasional drinking

I had to replace a cabinet and the countertop and believe in keeping the original "look"/style. Updated the fridge aand removed old furnace and installed propane on-demand hot water.
Cabinets were painted by previous owner an ugly blue and I'm happy with the updated colors.
Cushions are temporary and having new cushions sewn - Material on cushions in photos is just hot glued for a recent trip.

Maiden voyage photo with our Land Rover tow vehicle. Tows great and I forget trailer is behind us.
