Maxwell heads to his new home in Texas - 1964
Rob and Shari were gracious enough to meet us half way in Tucumcari, NM this weekend.
I can't say enough good things about getting their baby from them. They made the experience that much more memorable!
Can you see Prim's smile past the shine?
We'll head back to Texas tomorrow...

Glad to hear that Maxwell was adopted by such a great couple. My offer for a trade of my 75 TW would have been a great deal (for me ).
We traveled through Tucumcari, NM on Friday, I would have stopped if I had seen the old boy there.

Great!!! could not be in a better home if it had to leave Colorado. You also now become members of the "How do I install an air conditioner without cutting a hole someplace" club, Texas branch.

Congrats Kevin and Prim. Awesome looking trailer and I love the towing home shot. Glad this does not print in color, or you would be seeing how green with envy Skye and I are.

Kevin...hope this trip wasn't as far as the one you made to PA. Nice Prim could accompany you on this one. Nice looking trailer. As I can figure...you have one, Prim has one, and Badit has one as well. Congratulations!

Hi Bob,
Yeah, we got too many now. I went from searching for vintage units for about 2 years to 2 vintage units within months of each other. We're cooling our jets now!

Hi Chuck,
Prim did a great shot from the back seat of the truck while we were rolling down the highway from Tucumcari. She climbed in the back seat with Bandit and I opened the rear window for her. Amazing that it was that good, but she is amazing with her pics!
Don't be envious...Someone is gonna have to polish...

Awesome trailer, and now another vintage is calling the Republic home. Kev and Prim, I am hoping to see that trailer before I leave in mid August. Heading to Pecan Park tomorrow for some tubing!

I guess I missed the threads that revealed the possibility of the selling of the "famous" '64 Globetrotter.
Would sure like to hear more of the story of why. Is it somewhere in the forum already? I searched Shari's recent posts but found no mention.
I have enjoyed the reports over the years of the fine works done on it by Shari & her husband.
Why keep a '56 over a '64 ? I think that explanation would make interesting reading, and I know that Shari has sound reasoning behind it. Hope you will share that.
Kevin & Prim Li's plans for their fleet also will be fascinating if they choose to share. Congrats to them on their acquisition.
