Access To Water Heater

Beside the hatch on the outside to light the pilot light for the water heater, where is the access to the water heater for repairs?

Thanks in advance.

Access To Water Heater

What repairs are you referring?
What brand and type of water heater? Gas only. Gas/Electric.
Most components are accessible from the exterior door. There may be access to the tank part of the unit thru a interior cabinet or under the bed. Are some examples.

It is under the "floor" of the closet opposite the shower. Replaced my pilot light model with an electronic ignition version. Much happier.
