1964 Bambi II - Bike Racks

What is the best way to transport bicycles on the 1964 Bambi II?

Pictures would be appreciative too.

Thx in advance.

Not off the rear end, that's for sure!

Probably best to try and fit a bike rack over the A-frame/hitch area (I'm sure someone will post pictures of this) or, assuming you can't carry inside the TV, in front of the TV using a front hitch and bike rack.

Your Bambi II frame is very light. As Bob said, you shouldn't hang anything on the back of the trailer. Our original frame was 3". I'd go with the TV for sure.

Jack-It!

These are becoming quite popular and seem to be a great solution to utilize the unused space above the LP tanks. I have read many reviews; almost all positive. The only worry I have is increased tongue weight, but I think I will soon get one of these set-ups to transport our bikes. We have four bikes and only two trays on roof racks on the vehicle. This would be a great solution to carry the other two:

question is how you turn on propane tanks with bike rack on?

When I had the 16' Bambi, I stored 2 bikes inside with standing bike rack. works well. Doing it same with 19 Flying Cloud.

Plenty of clearance. Just turn them on. This photo taken from a Jack-It review found on eTrailer.com

Shows the product will work well with a vintage Airstream.
