1965 window frames splitting

I have had it with the countless times the top corners of my window frames have split. Welding just doesn’t hold. Can anyone please offer a solution?

Can you post a few good pics. Please do a search for Franks Trailer Works. He's had health issues and isn't open for business any longer, but has some good info on the variations of window frames from '65 and before then with Type i, II and III frames up through '68.

You can place a small corner brace on the inside of the window corner to corner. (Doesn't look near as nice on the outside of window)
I don't have an image right now but will look.

Have heard that small piece aluminum tig(sp?) welding is not an easy task.
