Zip dee awning

I saw a demonstration on how to unwind a too tight owning spring at a rally. Can anyone remember how to do that?

Thanks

Roll out awning, remove rear rafter arm bolt from bracke while holding rear arm firmly. Unwind rear arm how ever many turns you want, replace bolt.

If you have to ask, don't do it. You can seriously injure yourself if that tensioned arm gets away from you.

Zipdee has or used to have the instructions on their site. It is far from difficult and only moderately dangerous if you don't understand what does what.... I have had my awning off the trailer for repair and replaced a few parts. I didn't know what I was doing the first time but had no problems following simple instructions.
